Millionaire. Speak it and the word evokes thoughts of luxury and grandeur. To Steven Thompson, the word meant freedom from a financial hardship. As a youth, Steven Thompson’s life changed when, through outside circumstances, his parents were forced into bankruptcy. As a result Steven Thompson’s dream was to one day “change the course of my family’s future for generations.”
At age 25, Steven Thompson and his Wife Angie started their life as newlyweds in their tiny 800 square foot apartment. Steven earned a living by cleaning swimming pools while Angie taught elementary education. Steven Thompson expounds, “I was determined not to quit on my dream. Everyday as I would do my route, I saw myself living in the lakeside neighborhood in a big home, with someone cleaning my pool! On weekends, we would go for walks along the lake and dream about our future.”
